With its ancient streets and bustling atmosphere, Hanoi is a culinary paradise and a gathering place for countless unique cafés. If you want to find a quiet space to relax and enjoy peaceful moments on the weekend, try visiting the lowkey cafés below. Not only is it a place to enjoy delicious cups of coffee, but it is also an excellent space for you to relieve stress and enjoy life.
1. Mùa'shn
Address: 1B Le Phung Hieu, Hoan Kiem, Hanoi

Mua'shn is a small coffee shop next to 36+ Lab in a peaceful residential area on Le Phung Hieu Street. The shop has a gentle, relaxing space suitable for working or reading. With a decorative style symbolizing the four seasons of Hanoi, each season is also named for the drinks at the shop.
The shop has two facades: one under the wooden stairs famous for Ao Dai photos and the other facing the small alley, creating a quieter feeling. After 5 pm, Mua'shn switches to a liquor bar model, bringing a neww vibe to the evening. Visit the shop and experience this relaxing space!
2. Tranquil Books & Coffee
Address: 5 Nguyen Quang Bich, Hoan Kiem, Hanoi

Tranquil is a coffee shop that stands out with its cozy atmosphere, rich library of books, and delicious drinks at affordable prices. The shop is always highly appreciated by customers thanks to the book display area that is constantly updated with new books, from novels and short stories to specialized books. This is an ideal place to relax, enjoy coffee, and enjoy a good book.
Every Tuesday night, Tranquil becomes a meeting place for art lovers with Open Mic. This playground allows everyone to show their talents, especially those passionate about music. The shop supports guitar and piano, bringing a space for exchange, creativity, and connection for art lovers.
3. Hanoi Neighbors
Address: 114 Tue Tinh, Hai Ba Trung, Hanoi

Hanoi Neighbors is a new favorite coffee shop recently. I visited on Monday morning, and the shop was quite crowded, which is understandable because the shop's space is fantastic and cozy. The decor is classic and suitable for the cold weather of Hanoi. The shop is not too big but has many different areas such as indoors, balcony, attic and terrace. The attic area has a lovely light, suitable for taking pictures.
The shop used to be a brunch shop but has now been renovated, decorated brighter and more attractive. I really like sitting on the balcony, with a view straight down to Tue Tinh Street; very chill and comfortable. The shop also has a drink menu that is not too rich but quite good, I tried grapefruit tea with dried apricot, quite delicious. However, that day the cakes were all gone, what a pity. In addition to drinks, the shop also has savory dishes and brunch for those who want to sip.
4. Quán Nhạc Cầm
Address: 6 Nguyen Thuong Hien, Hai Ba Trung, Hanoi

Quan Cam is the first coffee shop that deeply impressed me thanks to its cozy vintage space. Although it has moved, the shop retains its unique features with the space in an old house, with many windows welcoming natural sunlight and soft, melodious music, creating a peaceful, relaxing feeling. The drinks here are simple, not fussy, but reasonably priced, especially the cool mulberry cup, which is extremely pleasant on hot days.
The shop space is quiet, not too crowded, and suitable for sitting, chatting, or relaxing. However, the air conditioning here may not be cool enough on hot summer days.
Hanoi is famous for its delicious food and is a paradise for those who love cozy and quiet cafés. These low-key cafés bring you delicious drinks and a place to enjoy relaxing moments, temporarily leaving behind the hustle and bustle of the capital. Hopefully, you will find your favorite cafés and have wonderful relaxing weekend afternoons.
