Hello everyone! If you're a fan of Japanese ramen and are looking for an authentic spot in Hanoi, you definitely can't miss Yukichi Ramen. Having just "discovered" this place, I have to admit its popularity is well-deserved, no wonder everyone is raving about it.
The first remarkable thing is that Yukichi's ramen recipe is brought directly from Japan. Just hearing that sounds promising. The restaurant confidently states that it will be open every day of the year, including the upcoming Lunar New Year (Tet) holiday. So, if you are tired of traditional Tet dishes, head straight to Yukichi!

Yukichi Ramen is a well-known late-night eatery in Hanoi, open until 3:00 AM. Night owls craving a hot bowl of rich, flavorful Japanese ramen, this is your "true love"! The restaurant is located on a "Japanese street" and attracts many Japanese customers, which speaks volumes about its authenticity. What's more, it offers a rather interesting outdoor seating area.
Yukichi's "best-seller" is the pork bone broth ramen, simmered for 19 to 24 hours. Just hearing about the process shows dedication! The restaurant offers two unique versions of this pork bone broth, each with flavors characteristic of two different regions in Japan, likened to Bun Mien Bac and Bun Bo Hue in Vietnam. Additionally, they serve a lighter chicken broth for those who prefer a milder taste. For lovers of spicy flavors, the Tanmen is a must-try. And if you're looking for a twist, the curry ramen with onsen egg is also an appealing option.

Another plus point is that you can completely customize the richness and saltiness of the broth to suit your taste. How considerate is that! The menu also suggests suitable toppings for each type of ramen, with up to nine toppings available. The prices at Yukichi are also quite reasonable, ranging from 140,000 to 180,000 VND.
Yukichi Ramen has five locations in Vietnam and three overseas, including one in Japan (Chiba City). Notably, the cooking recipe in Vietnam is the same as in Japan, ensuring you'll enjoy the most authentic flavor.

I had the chance to visit the Phan Ke Binh branch, which is Yukichi's first location in Hanoi, and I must say the space is charming. The staff is incredibly friendly and attentive, from warming the bowls before serving – a testament to their meticulousness. Sitting there, you can also observe the entire food preparation process.

In conclusion, if you live in Hanoi or are planning a visit, don't forget to note Yukichi Ramen's address. Especially during the upcoming Tet holiday, when the restaurant remains open throughout, this will surely be an interesting "change of pace" for your meals!
Remember to ask the staff to adjust the richness and saltiness to suit Vietnamese palates better. Personally, I "vote" for the thicker noodles! Wishing you delicious culinary experiences at Yukichi Ramen!
